Pitchfork Is Throwing A Great Big Music And Beer Party In Brooklyn Good news for music fans who don't mind drinking beer outside on a crisp autumn afternoon: Pitchfork is throwing a one-day festival dedicated to craft beer and excellent indie bands. They're calling it OctFest (presumably a play on "Octoberfest," a poorly-defined period of encouraged daydrinking that now spans from Labor Day to Thanksgiving), and are promising a stacked bill including Ohio indie rock heroes Guided By Voices and soul phenom Charles Bradley.
