According to NFHS-4 report, 91.9% Children of 12-23 months age have been received BCG in India. Whereas according to NFHS-3 report, 78.2% Children of 12-23 months age had been received BCG in India. According to NFHS-4 report, 91.4% and 93.2% Children of 12-23 months age have been received BCG in rural areas of India and urban areas of India respectively.
According to NFHS-4 report, there are 20 States/UTs which seen above the All India (91.9%) percentage of Children of 12-23 months age have been received BCG. Goa and Lakshadweep have the highest 100% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received BCG followed by Puducherry, Sikkim, Chattisgarh, Punjab, Kerala, West Bengal, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chandigarh, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Karnataka with 99.9%, 98.9%, 98.4%, 98.2%, 98.1%, 97.5%, 97.4%, 97.3%, 95.9%, 95.8%, 95.6%, 94.9%, 94.8%, 94.7%, 94.1%, 92.9%, 92.8% and 92.5% respectively.
According to NFHS-4 report, there are 16 States/UTs which seen below the All India (91.9%) percentage of Children of 12-23 months age have been received BCG. Nagaland has the lowest 68.4% of Children of 12-23 months age have been received BCG followed by Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Assam, Tripura, Daman and Diu, Meghalaya, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Maharashtra, Manipur, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar with 70.9%, 75.3%, 82.3%, 82.4%, 84.3%, 86%, 87.4%, 87.6%, 87.9%, 88.8%, 88.9%, 90%, 91.2%, 91.6% and 91.7% respectively.
