We have seen a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.75% in Bauxite production from 7993 thousand tonne during 2000-01 to 28134 thousand tonne during 2015-16.
Production of Bauxite was 7993 thousand tonne during 2000-01. In value term, it was Rs. 1787493 thousand during 2000-01. Production of Bauxite was 8689 thousand tonne during 2001-02. In value term, it was Rs. 1923096 thousand during 2001-02. It increased by 696 thousand tonne during 2001-02 as compared to the previous year 2000-01. In percentage term, the increase was 8.71% during 2001-02 over 2000-01.
We have seen an annual growth of 43.81% in Bauxite production from 15733 thousand tonne during 2006-07 to 22625 thousand tonne during 2007-08. Its value was Rs. 3847802 thousand and Rs. 5683866 thousand during 2006-07 and 2007-08 respectively. Production of Bauxite was 15460 thousand tonne during 2008-09. In value term, it was Rs. 4703221 thousand during 2008-09. It decreased by 7165 thousand tonne during 2008-09 as compared to the previous year 2007-08. In percentage term, the decrease was -31.67% during 2008-09 over 2007-08.
We have seen an annual growth of 6.27% in Bauxite production from 21166 thousand tonne during 2013-14 to 22494 thousand tonne during 2014-15. Its value was Rs. 21666011 thousand and Rs. 11922367 thousand during 2013-14 and 2014-15 respectively. Production of Bauxite was 28134 thousand tonne during 2015-16. In value term, it was Rs. 14095083 thousand during 2015-16. It increased by 5640 thousand tonne during 2015-16 as compared to the previous year 2014-15. In percentage term, the increase was 25.07% during 2015-16 over 2014-15.
The maximum annual growth of 6892 thousand tonne was recorded in Bauxite production in the year 2007-08 during the period under consideration. The maximum annual growth rate, i.e., 43.81% was recorded in Bauxite production in the year 2007-08 during the period under consideration.
