What cryptographic key generation needs is a good source of entropy

Imagine you're about to play a board game that involves using dice, say Monopoly, Yahtzee, Cluedo, Dungeons & Dragons...¹In most cases, at least where you're interested in playing a fair game, you want to be pretty sure that there's a random distribution of the dice-roll results.
