There was no clear trend visible in production of Kyanite during 2000-01 to 2015-16 in India. We have observed compound annual growth rate of -3.39% in production of Kyanite in India during the above said period. Kyanite production in India was 4865 tonne during 2000-01. We have observed an annual de-growth of -13.16% in production of Kyanite in India to 4225 tonne during 2001-02. Its value was Rs. 3578 thousand and Rs. 3146 thousand during 2000-01 and 2001-02 respectively.
An annual growth of 70.02% has been observed during 2014-15 over 2013-14 from 3679 tonne in Kyanite production in India. Its value was Rs. 8071 thousand during 2013-14. We have seen an annual decline of -53.62% in production of Kyanite in India from 6255 tonne during 2014-15 to 2901 tonne during 2015-16. In value term, it was Rs. 12185 thousand and Rs. 14029 thousand during 2014-15 and 2015-16 respectively.
Maximum production of 9057 tonne was recorded in production of Kyanite in India in 2003-04 during the period under consideration. Minimum production of 1048 tonne was recorded in production of Kyanite in India in 2012-13 during the period under consideration. A maximum annual growth of 251.05% was observed in production of Kyanite in India in 2013-14 during the period under consideration.
