Airline-wise International Passengers and Freight carried to & from India by All Scheduled Domestic Carriers during 2015-16

During 2015-16, 8957282 International passengers carried to India by All scheduled domestic carriers. Out of these 8957282 scheduled International passengers; major percentage share of 39.04% with 3496776 passengers carried to India by Jet Airways followed by Air India, Air India Express, Indigo and Spicejet during 2015-16. Scheduled International passengers carried to India by Air India, Air India Express, Indigo and Spicejet was 2813409 (31.41%), 1248900 (13.94%), 801150 (8.94%) and 597047 (6.67%) respectively during 2015-16.

There were 92702.8 tonnes International freight carried to India by All scheduled domestic carriers during 2015-16. Out of these 92702.8 tonnes scheduled International freight; major percentage share of 50.45% with 46767.1 tonnes freight carried to India by Jet Airways followed by Air India, Indigo, Spicejet and Air India Express during 2015-16. Scheduled International freight carried to India by Air India, Indigo, Spicejet and Air India Express was 44218.7 tonnes (47.7%), 1120 tonnes (1.21%), 442.5 tonnes (0.48%) and 154.6 tonnes (0.17%) respectively during 2015-16.

During 2015-16, 9284212 International passengers carried from India by All scheduled domestic carriers. Out of these 9284212 scheduled International passengers; major percentage share of 38.27% with 3552636 passengers carried from India by Jet Airways followed by Air India, Air India Express, Indigo and Spicejet during 2015-16. Scheduled International passengers carried from India by Air India, Air India Express, Indigo and Spicejet was 2850129 (30.7%), 1385819 (14.93%), 849085 (9.15%) and 646543 (6.96%) respectively during 2015-16.

There were 143861.6 tonnes International freight carried from India by All scheduled domestic carriers during 2015-16. Out of these 143861.6 tonnes scheduled International freight; major percentage share of 47.68% with 68592.5 tonnes freight carried from India by Jet Airways followed by Air India, Indigo, Spicejet and Air India Express during 2015-16. Scheduled International freight carried from India by Air India, Indigo, Spicejet and Air India Express was 57700.4 tonnes (40.11%), 10117.8 tonnes (7.03%), 3815.5 tonnes (2.65%) and 3635.5 tonnes (2.53%) respectively during 2015-16.
