The total number of Missing Female Persons was 314674 as of December 2016; Out of which 174021 (55.3%) were missing during 2016 and 140653 (44.7%) were Unrecovered Missing Female Persons of Previous years. Among all the Age-Group of Missing Female, ‘Adults – (Above 18 and Below 60)’ had the maximum number of Missing Persons during 2016, i.e., 128944 (74.1%), followed by ‘Children (Girls) – (Below 18 Years)’ and ‘Senior Citizen – (60 Years and Above)’ with 41067 (23.6%) missing and 4010 (2.3%) missing respectively.
The number of Missing Female Persons under Age-Group of ‘Adults – (Above 18 and Below 60)’ was 234405 as of December 2016; Out of which 128944 (55.01%) were missing during 2016 and 105461 (44.99%) were Unrecovered Missing of Previous years. Out of these total 234405 Missing Female Persons under Age-Group of ‘Adults – (Above 18 and Below 60)’; 101208 (43.2%) were traced during 2016 and 133197 (56.8%) were untraced.
The number of Missing Female Persons under Age-Group of ‘Children (Girls) – (Below 18 Years)’ was 70394 as of December 2016; Out of which 41067 (58.34%) were missing during 2016 and 29327 (41.66%) were Unrecovered Missing of Previous years. Out of these total 70394 Missing Female Persons under Age-Group of ‘Children (Girls) – (Below 18 Years)’; 35580 (50.5%) were traced during 2016 and 34814 (49.5%) were untraced.
The number of Missing Female Persons under Age-Group of ‘Senior Citizen – (60 Years and Above)’ was 9875 as of December 2016; Out of which 4010 (40.61%) were missing during 2016 and 5865 (59.39%) were Unrecovered Missing of Previous years. Out of these total 9875 Missing Female Persons under Age-Group of ‘Senior Citizen – (60 Years and Above)’; 3070 (31.1%) were traced during 2016 and 6805 (68.9%) were untraced.
