India has witnessed an upward trend in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at Current Prices from 2011-12 to 2016-17. We have seen a compound annual growth rate of 11.79% in GDP of India at Current Prices from Rs. 8736039 crore during 2011-12 to Rs. 15251028 crore during 2016-17.
We have observed an annual growth rate of 11.52% in All India Gross Domestic Product at Current Prices during 2016-17 over 2015-16 from Rs. 13675331 crore. Annual growth rate of 9.99% was seen in All India Gross Domestic Product at Current Prices during 2015-16 over 2014-15 from Rs. 12433749 crore.
Maximum Annual Gross Domestic Product of India at Current Prices was Rs. 15251028 crore, recorded in 2016-17 during the period under consideration. Highest Annual growth rate of 13.86% was seen in All India Gross Domestic Product at Current Prices in 2012-13 during the period under consideration.
